ReplyDeletein this article that i just read it was disscussing the desion of Lebron James sighing with the Maimi Heat. some say it was a great move on his behalf and they support him all the way. but some on the other hand say that he is the dumbest man in the world for the fact that him sighing with them he will not make nearly as much money as he would if he wulda just re newed his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. but he says that he didnt do it for the money.. he did it for that championship ring hes been dying for.

This article explains why it is a good time to invest in gold during a recovering economy. Gold is a steady commodity that stays consistent through good times and bad. Now instead of investing in physical gold that is expensive to protect, you can invest in ETFs (gold-related exchange-traded funds) which will give the same benefits of investing without the hassle. Gold has risen 180% over the last five years and shows no sign of stopping. Experts suggest that gold will continue to push and reach higher plateaus over the next year and that it will not end up being the next “bubble.” I think that it is good time to invest and will give citizens a safe place to invest their hard earned money. ReplyDeleteSeeing someone released early from prison is a strange thing for people to celebrate in my opinion. It is nice to see that people care, and sympathize with someone's life, sure. The strange thing is how the sympathizer's opinions are focused on, and how the reason this person was placed in jail was skimmed over. He is praised for surviving "tough times" where he and his wife's health are not up to sniff, but on what grounds was he placed in jail? This is a prime example of how media can be opinionated if they know it or not.

I think it's very brave for this guy to go into drug trials. He probably doesn't have much longer to live but he's using up his last bit of energy to help others for the future. Cancer is a terrible disease, but the doctors are fighting for the cure. This guy right here has really good character to do such a nice thing. Even though the chances are slim, I hope he gets cured from his head and neck Cancer. I also hope that other people with Cancer will use this guy as an example on how to help others with Caner.

I read about a boy named Samuel Burgos, who brought a toy gun to his school in Florida. He was only 7 years old and was expelled. Even though the gun wasn't real they should've gave him another chance. He was only 7 years old, he probably didnt understand the trouble he was going to get into. If I was the principle at his school i would've just gave him a warning and if he would've did it again then I would expell him.

ReplyDeleteI really think that this whole thing was blown way out of proportion. I can understand not following the dress code, but when it's reasons for religion, then I think it should be acceptable. I thought that her talking about her having the right to religion kind of tied into what we were talking about in class. Those rights we have were made to protect us as citizens and I think that being suspended from her school just shouldn't have happened. I also think it's not right that she has to explain herself, because if she were muslim or something like that it would be different. I just think they need to find a better way to resolve this problem.

In Raleigh there was a fatal crash on August 20. Two adults were charged with administering alcohol to underage drinkers at a party. A twenty year old man who attended the party died and his passenger was in critical injury, after crashing into the side of a house. They were driving 65 mph in a 45 mph zone. The eighteen year old girl who hosted the party, was charged with underage possesion of alcohol. If I was a parent, I wouldn't let them have alcohol during this party.

ReplyDeleteThis makes me so mad that people say things like this. This man is somewhat predjudice; he referred to members of the homosexual community, not really saying horrible things, but he could have used different, nicer pronouns for them. He deserves to have been reported. Number one, you just don't call people these things, and number two, you don't send it to sixty e-mail adresses! Quoted from the e-mail, "I hope all the queers are thrilled to see him. I am sure there will be a couple legislative fruitloops there in the audience.” As I said, not really trying to be mean, but ignorantly using bad names. A simple mistake of ignorance, it's a shame.

This article is about the guy who accused of murder,he spend 17 years in prison but they found out that he didn't do it.that guy was released on prison and they pay him $750,000.
ReplyDeleteI think about this article is that $750,000 is not enough to pay him for putting him on prison, because his life is ruined when he is inside the prion..:))

ReplyDeleteAlex Martinez,
i disagree with the killing of the hudson river project. The project benifited so many people. It created jobs and would lower car pollution.I understand that it was over budget but funds can be found. Its the USA there has to be some money laying around to help built it.Hopfully they change there mind and end up building it.

I was looking into this and it seems as if there's some problems in society as far as being able to have the finacial support to have a recieve food stamps, and the unemployment rate. Both seeming to be increasing. This is important because I think people should stand up for what they believe in and try to see about getting more jobs and maybe sending letters to the white house concerning food stamps.

ReplyDeleteA young girl was selling lemonade outside of a store and they told her she had to have a permit> In order to sell what she was selling. I think it is stupid that they would tell her that because it isnt harming anyone. she is just selling lemonade!

ReplyDeletei read this article two times, and still, i am not capable of understanding why people are willing to be so mean...when all we have in this life is each other. i know, i happens to embarrass someone, to humiliate, but there are plenty of solutions to make it better.
"they were being assaulted, bullied and harassed for being gay (or being believed to be gay)." since when is 'guessing' in things like that a good thing? since when harassment and violation is a way of showing affection? since when people would be so affect's by that that they had to do something less rational? and after all that, someone even had the courage to affirm: "You know if had GOD in his heart he would not have jumped. Matter of fact if he had GOD in his heart he would not have been gay." i believe that gays also have feeling, can make decisions and have God in their heart. it's so stupid to make statements when you don't even know that person or his story.
i feel sorry. sorry and ashamed that people are just unaware that some of us can be easily hurt.

http://money.cnn.com/2010/10/08/news/economy/september_jobs_report/index.htm?hpt=Sbin
ReplyDeleteI read an article on cnn about the september job loss in the U.S. that suprised me. The job loss rate was too high for americans, high enough to be scared for my own parents. It also said 150000 jobs need to be gained monthly just to keep up to the regular population growth. This information shows over 1500 jobs were lost over this past summer than ever before. Hopefully this changes and the job loss rate decreases by much.

ReplyDeleteIn this article the epidemic on suicides and bullying was targeted. This article opened my eyes and helped me realize even more than before that people are down right mean ! In this article three different kids not much older than me die in ways that can from some sort of bullying. I find it unbelievable that something this serious hasn't be helped yet. Some people aren't as aware that little things they say can hurt so much.

ReplyDeleteIn this event they claim that Osama is hiding in Pakistan. If so the CIA is on a crucial search to find this man. I hope they do to punish hin for the horrible crime he's done. He's made an impact due to the crime and I feel he deserves the death penalty as a fair punishment. He better hope the CIA finds him before I do.lol
