I read about North Carolina's senate Richard Burr. I think he is going to help our economic environment. I think it will be a nice thing if he could help our populations grow more. I also think that he will be a nice senate because he will help the quality of health care and service our nations. He went up against Elaine Marshall and won 51% to 36%. It would also be helpful of him because our health care would be good for our economy.

I have a problem with most of these senators and their ideas on repairing the economy. The problem is not with the working people being over-taxed, the problem with the economy is that the rich aren't being taxed much at all. Sure, tax cut extensions would be nice, but the national debt is too extreme for any sane person to consider making it any bigger. America should be working where the true problem lies and not on extending tax cuts to make you look good.

I think that from this article, both of the candidates running for senator seem pretty well matched. The article says that they were civil with eachother in the debate but they both got to take some jabs at one another having to do with the specific issues. I think that some people might like Elaine Marshall better because yes she is a women, but also because she's the underdog. She also seems agressive from what I read so I'm interested to see who comes out with the win.

It's easy to understand why kids would like the movie more after the movie "Social Network" and adults would't quite as much. Teenagers and young adults just don't care if the intentions of making facebook were not right. Adults on the other hand, would stop liking facebook as much because they care about privacy laws. I havn't seen the movie, but I can get a general sense on what it's about. Personally, I love facebook and I don't think a movie like this can change my opinion. It'll be interesting to see how many people will be using facebook in the future, and if the general opinions about facebook change.

Apple stock has had a great year crossing the 300$ dollar mark on Wednesday. The company has had a 40% increase in stock and is expected to announce a 91% quarterly gain, these gains mainly coming from the large sales of ipads and iphones. The demand for their electronics is growing and even producing a large amount of them they have not had to lower their prices to sell their products. Apple is definitely an expanding business that is showing no signs of stopping. I think that these numbers show that it is a good time to invest.

I find it so impressive! I mean, finally, after lots of bad things happening, after sad things and depressing stuff there is something that makes us feel happiness and sincere relief! after those 33 minors were stuck for 69 days under half a mile under ground, they could be saved, protected and got out of there. I also like the fact that everyone was implied in the process of getting them out.. they took care to send special food, beverages, nicotine, while lost of persons were making plans of digging into the ground. and thanks God, they are all alive!

In this article i read about Richard Burr. In this artilce, i learned he is running for an reelection! He has also opposed most of the things the Obama administration has favored. Richard Burr is the only GOP freshman senator running in the same state that Obama won. In his article he shows he is confident. "There is no doubt in my mind that I'm going to get reelected," he told reporters. Im not exactly sure about how to feel about him but he sounds like he knows what he is talking about. Whatever he does, i hope it only benefits.

    Aidan:

A drone strike killed four suspected militants in Pakistan's tribal region on Friday. officials said two missiles hit an alleged militant vehicle in the area of Machi Khel of North Waziristan, one of seven districts in Pakistan's volatile tribal region bordering Afghanistan.
this is kind of sad cause i don't know what a drone is but it sounds bad and "only" 4 deaths, but its still four people dead. dead is bad. this is bad.

I read an article on how people going into space is only months away. The fee for getting a seat on a space shuttle is 200,000 dollars a fee fit for a wealthy man. I believe this is expanding our technology greatly. But I also see this as making, going to outer space, a roller coaster ride which is not good. I believe going to space on a space shuttle should be used to discover future disasters we can prevent not for fun.

This issue talks about how a man sues the police.
He spent time in prison for a crime he was convicted of but didnt commit. The man, Dwayne Dail spent over 18 years in prison which was half his life. They found the DNA results and figured he didn't do it. All I got to say about this situation is payback is a pain!! Tootles to the horrible police that went against this man.

I like the idea that the president really tried to give his best, to work a lot, and make thing be better. I believe that it is a very serious and important thing if The Economist called these next two days among the "most crucial" NATO meetings in the history of the organization. So, I think that all these work and meetingg and ideas outh to be appreciated and supported somehow.
