The article i read today talks about how the U.S is adding more gay friendly shows on national television. It says that there are more lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender characters on shows. Some people think that this is going to bring to problems to the community. In one show is said that there's two gay characters with an adopted son. Some people didnt like the idea. Also on this shows is shown that there are no black characters that are not concidered straight. The U.S is still planning to make more gay friendly shows.

The article i read today talks about the junk food that is getting sold at caferterias all over the country. It says each child a day gets alot of unhealty calories and fats in there diet. Why can't there be healty foods served people ask? Well it is more expensive to serve! 94 percent of school lunches did not meet USDA standards. The number one food sold to kids in the U.S is chicken fingers and fries. Although these foods taste amazing there not to good for the body. Obama is trying to donate money to the schools to achive a better menu for the kids every day.

Tyler Clementi is believed to have killed himself after being secretely filmed and broadcasted on the internet. A quote says, Roommate asked for the room till midnight. "I went into molly’s room and turned on my webcam. I saw him making out with a dude. Yay.” I find it to be very sad that there are people out there stiving to only embarrass and harrass people for their own life decisions when it has abosulet nothing to do with them and is none of their business. If his life hadn't been posted for the whole world to see, exposing him, I believe he would still be alive today.

This article talks of a planet orbiting Gliese 581, a star in the libra constellation system, which scientists beleve may be habitable by life, proving to be that there is a possiblity of life on other planet. This may prove to be a contreversial in the scientific community seeing as there has been recent speculation in the scientific community of the possibility of life teeming in the galaxy. This proves to be very intresting to me because I have always shown an intrest in astronomy and other sciences. This is a very intresting article for the great possibility for contreversy and also a great intrest subject in the scientific community.

My article is about a massive Fisher Price Recall. Over 10 million products are being recalled. Recall is a serious issue for toy company's, they lose a lot of money for that. I think they should be much more careful and test toys to see if they're safe before publishing them. Seriously, this a painful recall. 10 million is just way too much for them.

After about a decade of observations, researches at the university of California came to the conclusion that one of the six planets orbiting the red dwarf could support life. That planet was given the name "Gliese 581g" and it would orbit just around Venus. It lies just within the region that can hold liquid water which is a good sign that life could be supported there. I am curious as to what kind of life forms this planet would have the potential to sustain and whether smaller organisms or actual animals would be able to be supported in that environment. The newly discovered planet has a mass of 3-4 times the size of earth, so it would have the capacity to hold more life if it could sustain it.

The article I read was about the young man named Tyler Clementi, who after having been filmed by his roommate unknowingly while kissing another boy, committed suicide by jumping off the George Washington bridge. I find it really sad and aggravating that anyone would find invading somebody's privacy funny in any way. What happened to Tyler Clementi should never have happened, and should never happened again. Though this event was incredibly sad, I do hope it spreads awareness about how these "jokes" can simply just go too far.

Today i watched a video about a recall on Thursday. More than 11 million Frisher-Price tricycles, toys and high chairs due to safety concerns. Apparently there were reports about 10 children injuries of which 6 where required to be hospitalize. Fisher-Price had to also recall healthy care, easy to clean and close to me high chairs, because there where reports of children falling of the chairs which some required stitches and having cuts on them from the chair. I believe that Fisher-Price should really pay more attention and be more aware of the toys, chairs, and any other objects that they produce and to really check for safety. To me 10-14 reports of children getting injured due to toys that are "suppose" to be safe is WAY too much. Before Fish-Price makes any other toy or object, they should really test them as many times as possible because one child getting injured is terrible but having 10-14 children getting injured is just insane and disturbing.

On tuesday, a student at the University of Texas opened fire with an AK-47. He did not shoot anybody and when the police came, he fled into the library and finally killed himself. His motive is not clear, but he most likely was not trying kill people, since he had many chances and still didn't shoot anyone. The entire school was put into lockdown for 3 hours. I think he might have been mentally ill and trying to imitate the shooting in 1966.
the article i read is basically about the flood in here (North Carolina) whats sad about it is that 5 people died from the weather. One was traveling westbound on U.S. 64 east of Creswell around 12:20 p.m. Thursday when their Jeep hit a patch of standing water, hydroplaned and skidded off the highway into the ditch. It also said on the article that, The storm flooded parts of coastal North Carolina, driving some people from their homes, and snarled train, air and car traffic in the Northeast. Tornado watches extended from the Outer Banks to New Jersey.
ReplyDeleteIt majorly affect people and "The hardest rain fell in North Carolina, where Jacksonville picked up 12 inches of rain - nearly a quarter of its typical annual rainfall - in the six hours between 3:30 and 9:30 a.m." i think this article is sad because of the tragedy, and its true, we need rain because it doesnt often rain here in NC.

This article talks about a new progaming where replicating skin cells can result in a stem cell by-product without destroying the embryos, which for so long have been the center of contreversy as being seen as destroying 'Human Lives'. This in my opinion is a huge medical breakthrough in a very contreversal but very promising field.

But it is only with a six-speed manual transmission. 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang a deep, throaty sound worthy of a supercharged American V-8 muscle car. The aggressive body kit change the appearance of the car so people know that this is not just any Ford Mustang prowling the roads its the new 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang.

ReplyDeleteThis article is about the leaving of Rahm Emanuel, who was the manager of the white house and the chief of staff. Hired in his place was Pete Rouse. He is only going away from the White House for two years, he has done many things that were memoriable and will never be forgotten. He left to run for Chicago mayor. Some jokes were passed around about how poorly this secret department was kept.

No time to think about marriage because of the economy, but they have to make their own decision. They might not want to get married because their business is low. I agree on that because marriage is not as easy as you think. If you get your business is going down, you are you going to tell your wife about that? It's like, "No money honey!" People have to build the economy and then the marriage.

This article is about how it is belived that pregnant mothers can have to up two alcholic drinks a week and still have no effect to the baby. To me this a waste of both research money and time that could be used to find more promising medical findings than simple human drinking habits.
