Obama just signed a food safty bill that will signifigently increase the amount of processing and precaustion goes into the FDA’s process. The bill grants the FDA with many more responabillities and powers such as the abillity to track food more closly so they can quickly stop a outbreak. Although this will most certinaly make food safer in the U.S it may also temperaraly raise the price of food. It will be an expencive process that will create more jobs in the FDA. I think that Obama signing this bill is good for United States citizens and even though it may cause a slight raise in taxes and in food cost I think it is worth it in the long term.

I read about how dead birds were killed in sweden due to an external blow. I thought was interesting to read about because it said that the birds had to get an autopsy. I never knew birds could get an autopsy thats why i found it so interesting. Their were 500 birds killed in that external blow. the kind of birds that were killed are called red-winged blackbirds. Those type of birds are mostly found in Sweden. I think that the external bleeding is what killed them because they couldn't breathe.

ReplyDeleteObama chose william delay to become chief of staff. Since the old chief of staff had to resign, obama chose Delay to take the spot making him the third most important person in the world. Some people think it is a mistake to have him working on in the white house because of his democratic views.
Honestly, they should just be happy someone took the spot because that job is stressful.

ReplyDeleteSo this homeless guy has a sign that advertises his "golden voice" and finally a reporter stops and pays him a dollar to do his voice in front of a camera, and then he finds out its like this amazing sports broadcasting voice naturally since he was 6 or so. after the reporter sent this tape all over the news, he got offers (within 48 hours) to be a sports voice over person and is now cleaned up and living his dream. This shows us that no matter what, you can achieve great things.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like Obama needs to learn to fasten his seatbelt. A 6 year-old has a good buisness sense, and shares it with the vice president. An ex-secretary decides to T.P. a building if his team wins, very laid-back of him. Boehner gets asked to stop crying, which I found funny. Best of all, a conspiracy to blame Obama for dead birds falling from the sky.

ReplyDeleteI am appalled. I also fear for the safety of this country and those who live in it. Explosives in the mail? This is horrible, even though the explosives were minor. I hope they catch whoever sent them, and this whole thing goes away before it inflates into something major.

Alot of people are speculating that this year will be the one to last years of our life. i know for a fact that everyone was suprissed. if i witnessed this event iwould be very concerend. these birds just came from nowhere and they were dead. talk about angery birds.

ReplyDeleteThe article i read is about President Obama introducing Gene Sperling as new head of economic cuncil. Along with several other new memebers of his economic team. Including promoting Jackson Furman from being a NEC member to Principal Deputy director of council. and Obama also named Clinton Commerce Secretary Bill Daley as his new chief of staff on Thursday. this article made hink about how things would be if everything changed. because in the article Obama belives that weve got a big hole that were digging ourself out of. and i belive him when he says that. hopefully we will. not just for me for the whole country

ReplyDeletethis piece of information is very touching. actually, the whole disaster is sad and devastating. even just thinking of it: thousands of innocent people are being drowned,are loosing their families, houses, things that they worked a whole life for getting and then loosing them because of...back luck, or weather (in this case).
This little boy, Jordan Rice, was so wise and mature at his age, for telling someone to save his brother first. this is really brave and we should admit that he has to be admired for his courage.

I think this shooting was politically influenced. The shooter don't agree with the health care repeal. The republicans took some time to honnors the victims of the Tucson shooting and now are get back to bussiness with the repeal.

ReplyDeleteI read about a kid who has a sickness that enables him to go to school and be there in class. But his family purchases a device, robot, that goes to school and he can see whats actually going on in the classroom and make friends. It sounds nice because the kid can now make friends and do things in class. But I dont like the idea of a robot. Its almost like another perrson and people are pushing technology to far.

ReplyDeleteThis event is crazy. A strong mother whose daughter was kidnapped holds on and keep searching for her child. Indeed she found her child 23 years later. The mother was never concerned she was dead or anything. And the daughter was curious why she didnt have any info on her backround. Then the daughter found a facebook page that said a child was missin, little did she know the child was hers. This story is crazy and i encourage everyone to check it out.
