ReplyDeleteI find it annoying how people use religion as an excuse for crime, whether they are concious of it or insane. "Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things, and evil people doing bad things. But for good people to do bad things, it takes religion." - Steven Weinberg
I believe Mitchell (the guy accused of kidnapping and rape in this article) is insane, pulling his deluded reasioning from his childhood in the church. Sure, Jesus was considered insane by the people of his time, but he didn't use religion as an excuse to kidnap and rape people. Or if he did, the church must of done a wonderful job of covering it up.

I think its terrible how anyone can let this happen. Its bad enough to let at least one person fall victim to poor care, but five people?! The people working at the Nursing Home who were in charge of the people who died should be charged. I think they shouldn't be allowed to work at a nursing home if they let people die. It said that Hepititus B was spread to eight eldery residents including the five that die. So due to lack of care, cleanliness, awareness, five innocent old people have died, and three have been given a disease. It's simply unbelievable, and the regulators even said that the staff was untrained in the prevention of contamination when testing people's blood. What kind of place are these people running?

ReplyDeleteThis is tragic!! Donald Trump is not fit for presidency. Why? Because first of all he's had financial issues in the past so he's not capable of running our country. He doesn't have much political experience. Also he's making money by inheriting money, so his wealth doesn't show a sign of his success. There are so many mistakes in the world, next thing you know Britany Spears is going to be running for vice. TRAGIC!!!

I read about a college student named Pedro Ramirez that goes to Fresno State and he admitted that he was an illegal immigrant. I thought it was interesting because he said he was a U.S. citizen until his senior year in high school. Then that year year his mom told him the news that he was an illegal immigrant. Another thing that i didnt get was how come he found out his senior year. He said he wanted to go the military after he graduated but now he cant go because of the news his mother told him. I dont think that isnt fair to not let him go because he put alot of effort in his work.

New satellite pictures show construction under way at North Korea's main atomic complex, proof shows that Pyongyang is making good on its pledge to build a nuclear power reactor, according to a private American security institute. So they are going to blow up America. I think this is good.

Dell reports that they have gains in profit even though consumer sales were weak. Large corperate consumers made up 27% of sales this quarter. Public sales revenue went up 20% and medium-sized business sales went up 24%. Desktops computers sales went up 21% and servers went up 20%. Even with all of these gains operating income was break-even in the quarter due to timid somsumers. Dell is noticing the impacts of the reccision with its customers buying less even with there gains in sales. I think that as we come out of the recession we will see more and more cases like Dell’s with more people buying and coming out of the timid recession period of limited buying. http://money.cnn.com/2010/11/18/technology/dell_earnings/index.htm

ReplyDeleteThe fact the house failed to pass a bill thursday about the jobless people in america is bad. The bill was for three months the people can file for extended jobless benifits. I think its a bad thing because nearly four million people are now short of a job. Also bad because the rate is only getting higher. This means very high people and lots of low paid citizens. But the unemployed have collected 319 billion dallors over the past three years with job benifits which is not good.

ReplyDeleteso, a mom is sentanced to be hung because she "insulted" a religion. i doubt she even did just that, she probably just doesnt belive in it so there for she "insulted" the religion. which apparantly is a big deal in pakistan. so bottom line is the blasphemy law of religion punishes non believers to death. i dont understand what these poeple are thinking or why they think the way they do, but this is sickening. she has a 12 year old daughter too and a husband. pakistan should look in a newspaper from america and see that EVERYONE "insults" relgiion and its funny, and then learn a thing or two from us on how humans function..."and give us their oil".

I think that this is an interesting topic. I read about bed bugs, which are truely disgusting - personal opinion. There now has been a bedbug call increasing by 81 percent since 2000. Bed bugs suck blood, and could be an result of recieving allergic reaction, but not a health problem. So im glad that this is being researched.
i dont think it should be banned just because people cant handle it they are taking people's likes and freedom to which they like to drink. Maybe it wasn't ment for sum people.I really doubt you'd find much difference in ingredients between this and Monster, Redbull, 5-Hour-Energy etc.And so people will just buy the non-Caff ones and mix it with there cans of red bull... its the stupid people/kids, not the drink. im so sick of government deciding what is best for me, why cant I be allowed to make my own decisions and live with the consequences, negative or positive.
