My artical was about how the United State Goverment, is helping victims from the Pakistan Flood. The goverment helped by giving two million dollars to provide water purification kits to the Victims. The kits include buckets and filtering cloths, which will generate 280 million liters of clean drinking water for 1.5 million people in desperate need. The flood has been taking course during these weeks and has caused many damage.Because of the flood many people have died from diseases and Contamination. The United State Government is still Gathering money and trying to save many people.

My article is about Obama discussing the cost of health care. Obama met with the state health insurance commissioners and made some changes. Some of the new changes state that for example, the new changes will end lifetime limits on coverage. Another change that is going to be made is health care insurance for senior citizens. They are going to get a check of 250 dollars to help with drug prescriptions that will need to be made. Overall most people are happy with the outcome while others say differently.

Today i watched a video about a traffic sign that was hijacked with a political message. The traffic sign was there to warn drivers of constructive work going on. Someone had hijacked the sign and on Tuesday morning the sign read "Tea Party Members, Grow Up". Apparently they had broken the padlock that secured the computer to the traffic sign and had changed the message. The sign was soon fixed Wednesday morning but they have still to catch whoever did this. I could not believe this when i had first watched this story. It was a shock to me that someone could break a lock on a traffic sign and change it to a message like this. I believe that it was an act of political intimidation and vandalism and whoever did this should be got and arrested imminently. And I'm pretty sure that there were some unhappy drivers.

I agree with this article. Too many people are trying to be someone other than themselves. I agree that doctors really should draw the line for two reasons. First of all, it's just not healthy to want to look like someone else that bad. Second of all, it's not fair to the celebrity. The celebrity should get at least a little privacy. This article brings up a good point and I hope it'll show people how wrong it is to try to impersonate someone else.

.....Interesting.... I really don't have anything to say right now. But if this were true, I would have absolutely no idea why they would do this. But for now, we actually don't have evidence to prove this theory. Deep down though, I really think this is stupid.

This article is about the Government finally declaring the BP’s Macondo oil well dead. They said that the oil well had been out of control for nearly FIVE months!!!!!! I think that is rather ridiculous. Honestly I think they could have stopped it sooner if they REALLY wanted to. They talked about how they pumped down a special cement, that was tested last Sunday, and said that it was set and working in not allowing gas and oil through. The BP Macondo said that they are leaving the well and taking some pipe casing with them and putting more cement plugs in. I think they should keep a servalence on the well for a couple more months before they completely leave it be for good.

    http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2010/0924/Bush-tax-cuts-Democrats-punt-until-after-midterm-elections

The Bush Tax cuts were originally stated to be extended only for middle class citizens and later it was up for debate as to whether upper class citizens should also have extended taxes. All citizens should have at least equal tax extentions. However, the upper class should have more extensive taxes because the tricklking down system requires the few people at the top of the system with the most money to make up for the large amount of people at the bottom with lesser amounts of money. The tax extentions were then set up to be extended for upper class citizens as well, however, the confirmation has been delayed. For now, middle class citizens that have a total income of less than $250,000 are subject to the extentions.

    http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/09/24/obama-ahmadinejads-911-comments-inexcusable/?ref=politics

Obama says that the comments Ahmadinejad made about 9/11 are inexcusable. The comments he made alluded to America actually being behind the 9/11 attack. Personally, I do not know what to believe about the 9/11 attack. It is possible that it was complete hatred toward the US, but there is a lot of scary evidence pointing towards the US really having something to do with it...

  9. The article was about Obama and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. they basically was arguing about describing the comments as "hateful" and inexcusable." Obama said: "It was offensive. It was hateful -- and particularly for him to make the statement here in Manhattan, just a little north of Ground Zero, where families lost their loved ones, people of all faiths, all ethnicities who see this as the seminal tragedy of this generation," Obama said. "For him to make a statement like that was inexcusable." i think the article is very agressive and good.

    New York Poll

A recent poll by Marist College Show that there is a 19 percent difference between the two candidates for the New York governor. The democratic candidate, Andrew Cuomo, is leading the republican candidate, Carl Paladino 55% to 33%. This is different from a poll earlier this week by Quinnipiac University that stated there was only a 6% lead by Cuomo. I think that Cuomo is most likely going to win because is in the lead. However, it is possible for either one of these polls to be correct and Paladino might have a chance ant winning the election against Cuomo.

    FBI Employees Cheated on Exams

my article is talking about the FBI thinking that several of their employees have cheated on the test. the inspector general found agents and analyst gathering together and sharing answers sheets with each other; in some cases they would use a computer system flaw to reveal the correct answers to questions. They found it suspicious that some only took 20 minutes to take the test when others took an hour and a half on it. The FBI responded by ordering approximately 20,000 agents, analysts and technicians to take 16 and a half hours of classroom training on the procedures and then to take the test to ensure their understanding.

This article talks of how there is a shortage of Thiopental Sodium... which is one of the most popular used drugs in lethal injections. This can be up for wide contreversy as the large battle taking place in the United States between people for and against the death penalty. People against the death penalty will say that this may be a sign that the death penalty is a bad idea. In my oppinion, this just proves that if we want to continue lethal injections, we need to find other medications to try and take the place of Thiopental Sodium.

obama forced a showdown with G.O.P. on arms part. obama believes that ratification of the new start treaty that regulates international arms control is a priority for his ademinstration. some republicans are rejecting the treaty because of the cost involved. it remains to be seen for if a agreement between the parties can be reached.
