    I believe that the browser wars sparking again is going to make surfing the internet have much more convenience. However, I still hold firmly that internet explorer is terrible and most likely always will be, compared to other browsers. Personally I prefer Firefox, and have been thinking of changing to chrome. Competition is healthy, and makes companies and organizations push their products forward in features and usefulness. It's also great to see that the web pages online will have an upgrade themselves to HTML 5, making videos load faster and allow for new possibilities and speed.

    I think that the charges that these hikers have been charged for are pretty ridiculous. I think it's great that these hikers finally got released, but i don't think they should have been there in the first place. I understand countries wanting their own privacy but do they have to go so far as to putting them in foreign jail? I mean that might be something that's pretty common in Iran, but the hikers probably just made a mistake and I don't think that's right.

    Dude, this makes no sense. There's no motive or reward to pull what thy did. Like for real, this kind of just shows us how messed up people are in the world! It also says in this article that some of the tourists might have been part of this. And the fact that there's SO many more articles like this is kind of funny in a pathetic and sad way. Maybe soon scientists will find out why people do horrible acts like this.

    I think that it's a shame how nurses are just trying to do their job and they're being abused. They usually want the best for the patient, and it's not fair that they get spit on, pushed, verbally abused, etc. I'm glad people have made suggestions for improvement. One hospital installed metal detectors. It made a lot of sense for them to install it, and I personally think all hospitals should install at least one in the building.

  5. Through scientific equipment the BP egineers have finished a relief well which will finnaly seal the center of the oil disaster. BP can now do a “bottom kill” a process that involves heavy mud and cement being pumped into the botttom part of the well to completely seal it off. It has been estimated that 4.9 million barrels of oil spilled into the gulf during the coarse of the oil spill.

    In this article their discussion the legalation of the same sex. I think if anything gay marraige should be accepted. I'm not gay or nothing but I wonder about how they feel about this whole gay marraige thing. Everyone should be accepted no matter what white, black, gay, or even straight. It doesnt matter!! They shouldnt mess up someone's life just because they're happy with the same gender they are.

    One of the pressing questions of our time is what went wrong in the relationship between Muslims and the West. Continuing global violence in the name of Islam reflects the deepest fears by certain Muslim factions of Western political, cultural, and economic encroachment. The solution to the current antagonism requires finding common ground upon which to build mutual respect and understanding. Who better to offer such an analysis than an American imam, someone with a foot in each world and the tools to examine the common roots of both Western and Muslim cultures; someone to explain to the non-Islamic West not just what went wrong with Islam, but what's right with Islam.

    I think that they should build the mosk because it will show that we are not racists. It will also show that we can tolerate other religions. I dont think they should build it at ground zero. It shows a bit of disrespect for the new yorkers and could offend them. It could offend them because the terrorists that destroyed the twin towers were muslims.

    This article is about something bigger then just men getting arrested for trying to harm the pope.It shows how awful and bad teorrism is. Had the pope been harmed then millions of people would have been harmed to. In my opinion country's should do more to try and stop the spread of teorrism.I also think that attacking a religious figer is wrong.Attack a govenor or something but not someone who brings faith to millions of people.Thank god those people were arested before they could do harm.

    The Whooping Cough (Sickness Spreads/Spreading)
    Cryptococcus gattii illnesses and mumps have been carried across the U.S., as well as Dengue fever going hand in hand, and might have been going around about the same time as the swine flu. But the very 1st case that was reported or mentioned of Dengue fever was thought to be observed as a case of pandemic influenza - which is not contagious and simply caused by inhalation of a fungus, And is usually transmitted by a bite of a mosquito. Mumps and Whooping cough are extremly contagious (highly) and easily spread from one person to another, this is an important topic because it has spreaded from one country to here in a small matter of time. I think that it is best to be safe and look into this ; as far as keeping your hands cleaned (hand santitizer) and keeping yo butt at home , when sick. (: I DONT WANT IT ;
    thanks .

  12. so, i continued my journey with castco. this weekend i read about people's opinion about building a new castco store in chapel hill, NC, and more than that, i got my opinion as well. so, peopel are really looking forward to be build a castco store in chapel hill, and they have strong argument for that. from the article i've read, only 1 person was against that, and had pretty poor explanations.
    so, it's really not convenient for people to pay bigger taxes than other towns from NC or from the state, because here are not so many businesses as people wish there would be.
    i'm PRO catco in chapel hill, and i think if it would be one here, people won't go one a month in raligh or durham for shopping, but they'll better fo weekly in chapel hill and but thing they needed.

    I read about how american hikers were arrested and imprisoned for trespassing across the Iranian border. I dont think it was wrong for the Iranian police to arrest them because its the hikers fault for crossing the border. Its very true that the border was not marked well but hikers should still plan better on the area they hike upon before they take a wrong turn. Im glad that they weere released from the prison because their inntensions were not to trespass. I think most people that read this anger dont agree with Irans decision to imprison them, but Iran might have thought it was a terrorist attack from an alien of that country. And the U.S probably would have done the same. Next time these hikers will plan better and map it out to where they dont make a mistake on where they're going.

    I read about how Obama decided to let the muslims build a Mosque near New York's ground zero. Some people think it's not a good idea but I do because I think that muslims have the same rights to freedom of religion as everyone else in America. Another reason I thought it was a good idea is because it can help support other buildings and keep terror attacks away. It would be a good thing to build people can have a place of worship and support their religion.

    This is the same article Lamont did earlier on. I decided to to it as well because i have alot to say aout this topic. In the article, Some of Minnesota's Catholic bishops are preparing a push against the legalization of same-sex marriage. I feel that that is so unfair in so many ways. People shouldnt be denyed their "life" just because some dont agree. I am not gay myself but I know some gay people. i feel that this isnt fair and something should be done to let gay people continue to live their life and get married if they want.

    This case is very shocking. A police officer was arrested for domestic violence. They said something about him beating his girlfriend which is not cool for men who like to put their hands on women. The crazy part about it is he works for the law. They said he stranggled his wife, now he is one crazy man. god bless the lady who was hurt in the incedent. We need to get involve and go against domestic violence. Its not cool.

    I think that poverty should be stopped no matter what. Even though we have a surplus of food and water, people are still poor. Some people who lost their money and job can't get them back. Some people even lose their children because they are not able to feed them. I think they can put a minimum on the amount of food and money that people get. They could do this by lowering prices for people in poverty.
