  1. I read an article about 2 new dinosaur species that were recently found in Utah. One was named Kosmoceratops, and had 15 horns, making it the animal with the most horns known to science. The Kosmoceratops was estimated to be 15 feet long. The other was named Utahceratops, and had very small horns that stuck out to the side. It was estimated to be 20 feet long.

  2. The Article was about Barack Obama asking the rest of the worlds leaders join us in making peace with the Middle East.Obama, visitied the United Nations where world leaders are gathered, says "America has joined with nations around the world to spur growth and renewed demand that could restart job creation."Obama will call on world leaders to cast aside decades of division over the conflict, overcome cynicism and prove their support for a settlement to be reached by the two sides that his administration is now pushing against long odds. It believe that this is a good step towards making the world a better place.

I think it's pretty bad that so many people have died for nothing. We went to war to stop them from building weapons of mass
Destruction but they didn't have any. The real reason we were there was to get oil.

Immigration has become an issue in the US. Many people are wanting to immigrate here, but, as we learned in class, the process to become a US citizen takes a few years to complete. The government is trying to keep the borders blocked, so that no one will come over illegally. Also, deporting every single illegal immigrant in the US is simply impossible with the economy we have right now. This could become a huge problem.

Can I ask you one question? What is this freakinq war in Iraq even about? this war is sooo STUPID. We have been fighting this war for like six years, and what has come from it? Nothing absolutly NOTHING, but even more drama. And then everybody is all like "Terrisom is a problem"! Uhh i would what too blow upp another country if they were shootinq upp my people for nothing. Sooo maybe we should Leave them alone. The United States Should be the bigger person and move on!!! I know that it takes time to stop a war, but now is the time to start, people are dying because they love this country and because they are eighteen and they have to. So that is all I have to sayy. Bye..! <3

  8. For Mrs. George, we read, "Obama Says Health Care Reform Helping People Get By"

    http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/09/22/obama.health.care/index.html

We read This week we read about Obama's health care reform. He said that the bill passed in March and is helping the government and American people deal with medical costs. 49% do not approve of Obama's health care bill. 37% do approve of it. Republicans and Democrats trying to make a reform for health care and they want to help the citizens of this country. We think this is great, but if they don't work together they can't help the citizens. We don't think that's what this country stands for. We think the bill is a good thing because we are having a hard time with the economy in America now and there are more poor people who don't have jobs in America.

This week in my news article I have read about a Virginia woman who is getting executed tonight 9:00. She is the only women in five years to get scheduled for execution. She was convicted in 2002 for the murders of her husband and stepson. She paid two men to do the dirty work for her and they get life without parole. Her attorney is trying to say she is mentally ill but no judge is falling for that. My personal opinion towards this story is what goes around comes around and I feel like if she wants to take someone else’s life she deserves to get hers taken. Also I feel like why would you want to kill your loved ones? What is the world coming to?

  10. The article i read about was about the war in iraq and how Seven years after the war in Iraq President Obama announced the end of Operation Iraq Freedom with a withdrawal of combat troops. Also in the artcle Obama talks about how the spread of unemplyment is getting worst and it is the biggest problem that he needs to work on. For the Iraq situation they are going to still have troops in Iraq and they are scheduled to leave by the end of 2011.
