This video is about about a 5 year old Romaina kid that is a guinness record holder. What kind of record do you think a 5 year old would have, the biggest finger painting but no his,Guilliano Stroe,is for completing the fastest ever 10-meter walk with a weight ball between the legs.I find this totally ridiculus he is not even six but he has a six pack. Some might say that having this kind of talent at such a young age is bad parenting and really unhealthy. In the video the boy does back flips off of a kitchen table.Dangerous dont you think.I think that at such a young age you are not that capable of deciding things such as that for yourself and that his parents had a huge impact on his wieghtlifting and gymnastic carrer.

*If you look in the background of the video you see little kids dancing to a 50 cent song*

This article is about a new dinosaur that was discovered. The fossils were originally discovered in the 1970s in Colorado but were just recently examined. It is the Fruitadens haagarorum dinosaur and is the smallest recorded dinosaur in North America. It belongs to the ornithischian dinosaurs. It is estimated to have weighed two pounds and been 30 inches long. This particular kind of dinosaur lasted about 100 million years due to it's ability to adapt. This is really interesting because dinosaurs are awesome, and it adds another piece to what the world looked like before us. It is also interesting because new species, especially record-holding ones, are fascinating.

  3. I watched a video on CNN.com, under videos, called, Return of Tea Party Express.

I found this video to be outrageous. It was about a movement starting in California protesting Barack Obama. My problems with it are:
    1) It attacks him personally instead of politically.
    2) The entire campain is focused on only Obama rather than others also in the administration.
    3) It has an obese woman talking about how her health matters to her.

Those are just the ones that jump out at me. They are flat out disrespecting the president, and even though we have freedom of speech, there are ways of disagreeing with Obama without putting his face on a pirate flag and putting the Joker makeup on his face.
Not cool, and kind of immature.

  4. I read an article called "Baffling Laws Have Some Asking 'Are you Kidding me?"

I think it is abosolutley ridiculous that watermelon was ban watemelon from the parks of this town! I'm sorry it made a big mess in the park, but its unessesary. The citizens of this town are in agreement with me. The city also has an ordinance that states that no member of the opposite sex can enter a hotel/ motel room. This is probably the most usless ordinace I have ever heard of.

This article tells how an al Qaeda 'sleeper' agent was detained by the Military and was finally tried in court today. He admitted to attending training camps from 1998 to 2001, and that he was told to enter the US no later than Spet. 10, 2001. He was originally arrested on accounts of Financial Fraud, and was decided to be a Sleeper. He was confined in the Charleston Brig for years until the Obama Administration decided to finally put him in Criminal court. This sparked a debate over whether he should have been in Criminal or Military Court. I agree that he should be in the Criminal system, since he had not committed any acts against the US, aside from being ready to cause terroristic violence. Also, he had not committed terrorist acts and was only being charged for Fraud, which is not a Military offense.

I read an article about an Al-Qaeda agent who admitted of working with the mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attack. Unfourtunatley he only has to spend 8 years in prison. I think that, that is a very nice punishment considering what he has helped do in the past. If I was the one who put him in jail, I would make sure that he never got out. The guys name is, Ali al-Marri. He is 44 years old and in my opinion should stay in prison until he dies.

The article I read this week was, actually, about a game on Facebook. This game, called Farmville, is the number one game played on facebook, with over 62 million people playing, and more than 22 million logging on every day. So, why write an article about Farmville? Some students, or adults, are actually falling behind in their schoolwork or real work because of this game. Instead of studying or working on important papers, they spend time harvesting squash and planting rice. This article was definitely familiar to me because I am on the other side of the fence about Farmville as most of my friends, who are addicted to it. I find it really annoying and pointless. Now, it's being proven that it wastes time and can affect someone's performance at work or at school, as well as social life! There are stories about people cutting dates short or dismissing their pregnant wives because they have to harvest crops. In fact, the number of Farmville 'farmers' outnumbers the actual number of United States farmers by more than 60 to 1. By the research that shows Farmville can hinder one's performance in work and socially, I only have one thing to say to all my friends who love Farmville: I told you so.

This story is about a teenage girl who was gang raped by a group of as many as 10 guys durring her high school's homecoming dance. School district officals and school security were there to "patrol" the dance and keep it safe. The attendees said that even though they were there, they fail to check IDs of people attending and didn't question the men who were sitting outside of the campous where the dance was being held. As a result of the school's lack of cautiousness, the girl ended up being raped and beaten for 2 1/2 hours. When information was released to the community, there was wide-spread anger at the school. The suspected rapists had to wear bulletproof vests because of the fear they would be shot at.

This is so cool: Naked mole rats, which have incredbily long lives for rodents, have been found to be immune to cancer. Both their life span and their u=immunity to cancer could help humans greatly. If we could determine what exact genetic difference makes them impervious to cancer, it is possible that we could harness it and use to to prevent cancer in our own species. This kind of breakthrough would be phenomenal, and could cure many types of cancer.

    U.N. cutting staff in Afghanistan
Some representatives from the U.N. are being moved out of Afganistan after a house that help some U.N. people in it was attacked. They're leaving the country because of security concerns. I think it's bad enough that someone attacked a house. The U.N. is just trying to help out countries that are in need and when they're being attacked, we should know that something is wrong. U.N. officials are there to help us create a better world. Having a house with some U.N. representatives inside being attacked is an attempted murder. The people who are responsible for this attack should be caught immediately.

    Sorry this is late

On October 31, 2009 also known as Halloween, a large crowd gathered on Franklin street in Chapel Hill to celebrate their own homegrown Halloween. This was the second year of Homegrown Halloween, with restrictions that shut down major travel routes, limited public parking and increased police presence to 315 officers for the sake of crowd control and public safety. Police say they arrested one person for assault; and EMS crews responded to 22 emergency calls, 18 of which were alcohol related. Eight people were taken to UNC hospitals, and there were no reports of larcenies or vandalism. I myself was on Franklin Street that night with my friends; and we saw all of the crazy people and costumes; which was for the most part fun.
